How does Gyfr work?
At Gyfr, we believe that affordable fitness training is a basic necessity. Gyfr is a platform that connects clients with fitness trainers in real time. Clients can use the app to request a trainer, specify their preferences, and get matched instantly with a suitable trainer in their area or through an online training session, instantly.
Do trainees have the freedom to choose the workout location?
Yes, trainees have the flexibility to request training sessions from any location. For instance, they can go to their local gym and request a session through Gyfr. If they opt for an in-person session, they will be matched with a trainer from the local area who has access to that gym. Alternatively, trainees can request an online training session via video call.
What is the refund policy?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you're not happy with your personal trainer or training sessions for any reason, you can contact our customer service and we will be happy to help you. We do provide full and partial refund for training sessions that have already occurred on a case-by-case basis. We want to ensure that you have the best possible experience on Gyfr. What does Gyfr do to ensure trainees' safety and comfort?
At Gyfr, safety is our top priority. We employ rigorous screening processes to vet all our trainers, ensuring they meet our stringent criteria for professionalism. Moreover, we continuously monitor trainer performance and user feedback to maintain a high standard of service. Accounts of trainer's with multiple sub-par ratings are deactivated by our algorithm. How much does a training session cost?
The price of each session varies depending on its length and whether it's conducted online or in-person. Typically, online sessions are priced lower than in-person ones. At Gyfr, affordability is fundamental to our philosophy. We firmly believe that everyone should have access to resources to enhance their health. That's why our training sessions are priced at more than 85% below the industry average, ensuring accessibility without compromising quality.
How does the Gyfr affiliate program work?
Our affiliate program allows you to earn by promoting Gyfr to your family and friends. For each session booked through your referral, you will earn a 10% commission. The number of referrals is unlimited, and so is your earning potential. Do I need any equipment for my training sessions?
Our trainers can design a personalized workout plan tailored to the equipment you have, whether that's a fully equipped gym or no equipment at all. Many of our clients prefer online training sessions from the comfort of their homes, where they often have minimal equipment.
If you don't have any equipment, our trainers can create effective bodyweight workouts or recommend simple, affordable equipment like resistance bands or dumbbells. If you have specific equipment, such as a treadmill, kettlebells, or yoga mats, your trainer can incorporate those into your sessions for a more customized experience. Regardless of your setup, our goal is to ensure you have a safe and effective workout that meets your fitness goals.
Will trainers have access to any of my information?
No, we take your privacy very seriously. Your trainers can only see your first name. They will not have access to your email, phone number, or any other personal information. We ensure that all your private data remains secure and confidential.
Trainers FAQ
Do trainers have the freedom to choose the workout location?
Yes, absolutely! Before accepting a training session request, trainer’s will be able to see the location and length of the training session. Personal trainer’s should only accept the requests that they wish to.
Is there a penalty for trainers if they decline a training session?
No, trainers are their own boss. They operate on their own schedule and terms, and there's no penalty for declining a training session request. However, once a session is accepted, canceling it will result in lower ratings. Trainers with a rating below 3.50 risk deactivation of their accounts.
How does accepting a training session work in the Trainer's app?
Upon logging in and starting their shift, trainers will begin receiving training session requests. When a request is received, trainers have one minute to either accept or reject the session. During this period, trainers can view the client's previous ratings, any specific notes the client may have added, the session duration, and the location of the session if it is in-person. This allows trainers to make informed decisions and provide the best possible service.
Can I earn extra if I bring my own clients?
Yes, you can earn extra by bringing your own clients through our affiliate program. You’ll receive a 10% commission on every session booked through your referral link. There are no limits on the number of referrals you can make, so your earning potential is unlimited. It’s a great way to boost your income while helping us expand our community. How do I become a trainer on Gyfr?
If you have at least two years of experience in the gym, you can apply to become an independently contracted trainer through the Gyfr platform. Once the application is submitted, most trainer's accounts are activated within three to seven business days.
Do I need to be certified to provide training?
No, certifications are not required to provide training on Gyfr. However, all trainers must have at least two years of dedicated gym experience. Additionally, all trainers need to satisfactorily complete our questionnaire discussing their previous workout experience during the sign-up process. It's important to note that certified personal trainers may receive higher-paying offers compared to non-certified trainers.
What is the payment process for trainers?
Trainers are compensated for each session they complete. You can choose to withdraw your earnings as frequently as you wish by requesting a "pay-out" through the earnings section of the trainer's app. The app provides real-time tracking of your earnings and payment status, ensuring you stay informed about your financials.
Once you request a pay-out, please allow up to three to five business days for the transaction to be processed and completed. This timeframe ensures that all payments are accurately and securely handled. If you have any issues or need assistance with the payment process, our support team is available to help.
